Long time no see!
Ugg, so much has been going on. Sorry for the lack of updates. My man lost his job and things have been crazy since.
Today I found a mouse in the basement. Ewww! I set a few traps but haven’t caught the little bugger yet. My daughter has belly problems since last night. My son’s father might have a blockage in his heart and he’s in the hospital.
I need some good news for a change!
Well, I’m off the visit everybody’s blogs now!
My Kiddos
I posted a picture of my daughter when I did the picture tag and Lucy asked to see a current picture of her and my son. Well, I can’t pass up an opportunity to show off my little ones
First up is Jacob. He’s my 10 year old who was diagnosed with autism when he was around 2 and a half years old. He’s come such a long way over the years. He starts 5th grade on Wednesday and I’m so proud of him. He’s my sensitive boy. He’s always happy and expects everyone else to always be happy too. If you’re the least bit upset, he’ll give you hugs, kisses and tell you to be happy. I love him so much.

And here is my baby girl Juliet. She’s almost 16 months old now. She’s my shy little darling. I gotta say I lucked out with these kids. There a both always happy! Juliet does get her diva tantrum moments, but gets over it so quick. She’s also a BIG girl! She’s over the 95th percentile for height (her daddy is 6′4″) and 75th percentile for weight.

Aww, It’s a picture of my baby girl last Halloween
She went as a bumblebee and my son was a policeman
It’s crazy how much the grow in one year. Now she has a full set of teeth, a lot more hair, and she’s running around like crazy! *sigh*
Ok, I tag
Nicole over at MagicXMaid has set up a nail polish international Chistmas Exchange! What fun! Sign up ends on September 14th so hurry up and get your butt signed up! Now you’ll KNOW that you’re gonna get nail polish for Chistmas. Yay!
Glitter French
Time to lighten things up! I went with a glitter french here. The base color is Essie Starter Wife, the silver tip is Zoya Trixie and the gold line is L.A. Colors Art Deco Gold Glitter. The pics were taking outside in the sunlight. I normailly wera darker colors, so it’s weird seeing my nails like this!
On another note, you can see I need some serious help with my cuticles. I found this cute shop on Etsy called CozyMoments. Besides some Body Butter, I also ordered some Nourishing Nail and Cuticle Balm. Hopefully it helps. I’ll write up a review and let you know!
Zoya Polishes Came In!
Yay! I got my Zoya polishes in from the twitter promo. I ordered Dovima matte, Loredana matte, and Trixie. I love the look of the mattes but man, they do not hold up well at all. I just did them yesterday and this morning the polish is completely off 4 of my nails and half off of two of them. Sadness, because I thought it looked really cute
I wanted to try to stamp Trixie on using Konad. I wasn’t sure it would work but I thought the look of a foil finish on top of the matte would look neeat. And it works great! Trixie picked up easy from the Konad plate and went on the nails easily.
So here’s the look. Two coats of Zoya Dovima Matte. Konad plate m64 and Zoya Trixie. Click on the images if you wanna see the bigger pictures:
Cops called to Jon & Kate’s Place

E online and The Hollywood Gossip are both reporting that the cops were called to Jon and Kate’s house because of an arguement. I know most people are so sick hearing about these two, but I can’t get enough!
What’s wrong with me? Seriously?
I think it’s because I watched the show from the beginning and I always hated Kate. She’s way to overbearing. And know that Jon finally grew a set, he turned into a complete douche! I honestly do feel bad for all those kids going though this, but man I cannot get enough of their drama.
Kick Ass Nails: Vol. I
While searching around for nail designs to look at I came across some terrific, dare I say, kick ass nail designs. I’m going to post a few here so you can check ‘em out and go to their websites to see more. (If I listed your design and blog, and for some reason you don’t want it here, please let me know and I’ll take it down). I hope you enjoy these as much as I have!
Gothic Lolita Manicure at Nails by Asami. I’d love to post a picture here, but I can’t grab it from her blog. Click on the link to see the kick ass nails though! It’s SO worth it. It’s a clean black and white design using Konad, freehand, and nail stickers. Very creative and it would sure stand out in a crowd. She has a tutorial up to on how she did it.

Piture is from I Love Nail Polish
Nautical Themed Nail Art at I Love Nail Polish. Light and preppy, kinda the opposite of the Gothic Lolita Manicure but I love it just as much! I can picture the girl wearing these hanging out on an expensive yacht drinking champagne and enjoying life. She really captured the nautical theme perfectly, don’t you think? Perfect colors and perfect design. Looks like she did it all freehand. Simply gorgeous. Can’t wait to see more nail designs from her!

Picture from Never Too Much Glitter
If you’re looking for a pretty, subtle, and feminine look check out Never Too Much Glitter’s Konad Flower French . I can totally picture a bride sporting this look on her wedding day. A beautiful classic french jazzed up with Konad flowers. It would also be pretty for work too if you work in an office type setting.
Thanks for sharing your nail designs and pictures! I really enjoy them, and I hope you do too!
