Zoya Polishes Came In!

Yay! I got my Zoya polishes in from the twitter promo. I ordered Dovima matte, Loredana matte, and Trixie. I love the look of the mattes but man, they do not hold up well at all. I just did them yesterday and this morning the polish is completely off 4 of my nails and half off of two of them. Sadness, because I thought it looked really cute

I wanted to try to stamp Trixie on using Konad. I wasn’t sure it would work but I thought the look of a foil finish on top of the matte would look neeat. And it works great!  Trixie picked up easy from the Konad plate and went on the nails easily.

So here’s the look. Two coats of Zoya Dovima Matte. Konad plate m64 and Zoya Trixie. Click on the images if you wanna see the bigger pictures:

Pink and black nails

This looked pretty good until I put the top coat on. The top coat smeared it. Sigh. Anyhoo, I used Funky Fingers in Screamin’ Fucshia and Konad Special Black with Konad plate m57

Silver and Black nails

I LOVE Maybelline Mirror Image nail polish but I can’t find it anywhere anymore. I know some people found some a while back at Dollar Tree, but I searched in three different stores and couldm’t find it. I f anyone knows where I can get some, please let me know! I did my nails with Mirror Image with Konad special black with a Konad plate for the tips. My toes are straight Mirror Image.

Salsa and Spring Nails

I wanted to brighten things up with my nails, so I put on Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Lightening Creme.  What a great shade of yellow! The brush is HUGE though! I also used a couple of Fauxnad plates for the random flowers and roses.

I won a jar of La Victoria Salsa today. A small win, but maybe it’s the start of a winning streak

Konad = Awesomeness

I LOVE the Konad nail art stamper! If you never heard of this before, you should check it out . All you need is  their stamper, scraper, and one of many image plates.  I have 5 Konad image plates, and 11 Fauxnad (fake Konad) plates that I bought on ebay. Here’s my nails right now with O.P.I.’s  I Don’t Do Dishes! nail polish and for the hearts I used Konad Special polish in Black, Sally Hansen Chrome, and Wet n Wild Pink Petal Glitter. For the hearts on my tootsies, I used Konad Special Polish in White. The only problem I have with Konad is that I want to try new images all the time, so I’m always changing my polish! By the way, there’s lots of tutorials on youtube on how to use it.
