Zoya Polishes Came In!
Yay! I got my Zoya polishes in from the twitter promo. I ordered Dovima matte, Loredana matte, and Trixie. I love the look of the mattes but man, they do not hold up well at all. I just did them yesterday and this morning the polish is completely off 4 of my nails and half off of two of them. Sadness, because I thought it looked really cute 
I wanted to try to stamp Trixie on using Konad. I wasn’t sure it would work but I thought the look of a foil finish on top of the matte would look neeat. And it works great! Trixie picked up easy from the Konad plate and went on the nails easily.
So here’s the look. Two coats of Zoya Dovima Matte. Konad plate m64 and Zoya Trixie. Click on the images if you wanna see the bigger pictures:

Has anyone tried a matte top coat with a matte polish? Would that work?

Oh I love this! I have to admit I haven’t been tempted by any mattes yet but seeing this one with konad on it has kind of started to change my mind!
Love that design. Another plate to add to my list!

I haven’t managed to get interested in mattes yet, but I do however love your design! That’s super cute. And I think it looks really good with the matte base and the glitter design together. My favorite matte looks have been with a switchup, either matte base and glossy design, or glossy base and matte design. I think that’s the only way they appeal to me. However, I’m disturbed by the very consistent reports of the horrible wear!

This is really cute! I don’t know if a matte top coat would work, I imagine it would just dim the foil a bit and make it matte. I wonder if it would make the polish last longer?!

Love the matte look. Very pretty mani! I wonder if you could use the Essie matte topcoat to make it last?
