The Ped Egg…Your Thoughts?

I admit, when I saw the commercials on tv about the Ped Egg, I was totally grossed out. I mean, who needs to see all that dead foot skin when you’re munching on potato chips in front of the tv? Ewww.
However, my mom (who is a total gadget addict) picked it up and raved about it. She also picked one up for me. OK, whey not give it a shot? Who doesn’t want nice soft feet that look good in sandals ya know?
I feel in love with the thing! It’s not at all painful and OMG all the nasty dead skin that come off your feet! My heels came out almost as soft as my 15 month old’s tushy!
The only con I came across is that if you turn the Ped Egg a certain way while doing your feet, the nasty shavings come out instead of being contained.
So I think the Ped Egg =Awesomeness. Anyone else try it? If not I highly recommend. It’s only $9.99 at Drugstores, Walmart and the like.

I tried the Ped Egg and after getting off all the gross dead skin I felt great! My feet were so soft! But then within a couple days, I noticed the bottom of my feet were catching on my sheets, etc. I wish I could explain this better but it was like the Ped Egg tore the skin off (it doesn’t hurt or anything!) rather than shave or file it away. Because it tears it away with its little shavers I had tons of little catchs on the bottom of my feet and I ended up getting a pedicure. I threw the Ped Egg out.

I have something like it that I bought from QVC. It does a great job but the dead skin does flake out of the holes when you use it. This one has two removable plates. One plate removes all the dead skin and the other plates smooths your skin. I’m glad I didn’t get the PedEgg since it doesn’t have the skin smoothing plate. You can also just buy those foot files with the smooth side file your feet. It is gross to see all the dead skin. It’s also worth it to have baby smooth feet. There are too many people going around with gross disguisting feet in their sandals and flip flops. At least put creme on your feet.

Well, the PedEgg does come with a skin smoothing “decal” that you stick on the one side. I use that after and had no problems. Did you use that Judy?
